My family and I are going to Virginia Beach this summer for vacation and researching things to do. Do you have any suggestions of fun, interesting and not terribly expensive ($25/person or less) to do or notice in the VA Beach, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Hampton Roads areas? We were considering the Aquarium, Nauticus and Virginia Zoo. Also any ideas for good places to eat would be appreciated. Thanks. I think I found an answer. All good Choices . The zoo is fabulous and fun but not real big. Try the Va Living Museum instead. The aquarium is nice and has a real good IMax theater. Try the Pirate ship Its a great afternoon and real blast. The head boat fishing is an almost must its a great way to spend sometime on the water. Try the Purple Cow on Laskin road for breakfast one morning they have an awesome Monte Cristo sandwich

  1. You can make boot tours to see the dolphins, make a day trip to the living museum in Williamsburg, in Williamsburg there is also a outlet mall, Norfolk has the Wisconsin, a old Navy ship. You can look on the event calendar but Virginia beach has a lot of free concerts etc. In the summer along the beach. There is a waterpark, I just dont know how much it is. Also Virginia beach has a lot of miniature golf places. You can ren inlines or bikes. Or learn how to surf.
